Yes there is an option on the application for living on/off campus. I received financial aid at the community college (which has no dorms) the grants are based on financial need (if your under 24 that includes your parents income) up to $4,500 a year (this is the only free money)
and then there are the Federal Student Aid loans which can help to cover tuition, living cost, basically everything the grants don’t …..those go up to about $10,000
